Biography:

She received her Ph.D. at Mansoura University/Egypt through a joint scholarship with the University of Wisconsin Madison, USA. Currently, she is working as Prof. Microbiology and Immunology Department, Mansoura University, Egypt. She has more than 50 publications in international Journals, review articles, and book chapters. She is interested in the study of bacterial virulence and resistance. She also working on the inhibition of quorum sensing as an antipathogenic approach to combat bacterial resistance and virulence. She is a reviewer at PLOS one, scientific reports, Frontiers in Microbiology, Microbial Pathogenies, and Microbiology Research International, and other impacted Journals. Shee is also an editor at perpetual journals. She has the university prize in excellence Pharmaceutical and Medical Sciences. She has experience in teaching different microbiology courses to the undergraduate students, postgraduate students, and online courses. She is supervising of more than 12 postgraduate students and participated as co-author of three national grants.
